Actor And Comedian Brad Garrett To Serve As Grand Marshal For Auto Club Speedway's Auto Club 500
Emmy-award winning actor and the star of the FOX comedy "Til Death" Brad Garrett will serve as the Grand Marshal for the 2008 Auto Club 500, Auto Club Speedway President Gillian Zucker announced today.
"Brad has earned a legion of fans across the country and we're excited to have him as a part of the West Coast Premiere of NASCAR", said Zucker. "Not only is he one of the most recognizable faces on TV, he's got one of the most distinctive voices in the entertainment industry."
A three-time Emmy award winner, Garrett will announce the, "Gentlemen, Start Your Engines" command to the NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers in front of the live audience and millions of fans watching at home on FOX's race broadcast.
Garrett currently plays the role of Eddie Stark on "Til Death". Prior to his current series, Garrett earned five Emmy nominations, winning three for Most Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Robert on the hit series "Everybody Loves Raymond".
