Racefest Offers Sneak Preview to Excitement of Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Race

Race fans from across the nation will get a pre-race sneak-peak at the excitement surrounding Southern California’s Inaugural “Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup” Race with a night full of high speed festivities and high octane entertainment as Stater Bros. Racefest presented by Pepsi comes to Auto Club Speedway on Thursday, Oct.  8. 

Stater Bros. Racefest presented by Pepsi is free to the public (admission and parking) and will be held in the Opportunity, California FanZone outside the front stretch and in the shadows of Auto Club Speedway in Fontana.  The event, scheduled from 5 – 9:30 p.m., is an exciting kickoff to the NASCAR Playoff Weekend, highlighted by the Pepsi 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race.

With the much anticipated Pepsi 500 scheduled just three days later (Sunday Oct. 11), Racefest will provide a glimpse of the celebrity and excitement that is NASCAR with a fun-filled evening including driver autograph sessions, live music, rides, games souvenir rigs, a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series hauler parade, on-site silent auctions and great food and beverages.

More than a dozen drivers, including Sam Hornish, driver of the No. 77 Automobile Club of Southern California Dodge, Mark Martin, Kasey Kahne, Jason Keller, Marcos Ambrose, Steve Wallace Joey Logano, Casey Mears, team owner Richard Childress and many others will be on hand to sign autographs at sponsor tents throughout the event.

There will also be a special appearance by NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Jeff Gordon on stage as well as many other activities, all part of the Pepsi 500 NASCAR Playoff weekend which includes a NASCAR Nationwide event (the Copart 300).

Tickets to the Inaugural Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race start as low as $35 and AAA Members can also take advantage of a $10 off Saturday ticket for the Copart 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race – available until the event begins.
