San Bernardino County , Calif. (Oct. 2 , 2009) – Audrina Patridge who stars on the hit MTV series The Hills has been named Honorary Starter for the much-anticipated Inaugural Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race – the Pepsi 500 at Auto Club Speedway on Sunday, October 11 at 12 p.m. PT.
As Honorary Starter for the Pepsi 500, Patridge will wave the Green Flag from the top of the flag stand on the Speedway’s start/finish line, to get the Pepsi 500 underway.
Patridge made her television debut in 2005 as the fun and outgoing friend on The Hills, a reality show that documents the lives of four young girls vying for success in the fast pace, energetic city of Los Angeles. She recently made her big screen debut in the horror film Sorority Row. In 2010 Patridge will star in her own reality series that follows her personal and professional life.
