Calling All Race Fans: Daytona 500 Viewing Party To Be Held At Espn Zone, Downtown Disney District In Anaheim, Calif.

Doors open at 9 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 14 for the NASCAR season opener

San Bernardino County, Calif. (Feb. 1, 2010) – With the NASCAR 2010 season fast approaching, Auto Club Speedway and ESPN Zone in the Downtown Disney District in Anaheim, Calif. are hosting the Daytona 500 Viewing Party on Sunday, Feb. 14.  Doors open at 9a.m. and the green flag is set to wave for the “Great American Race”- the Daytona 500 at 10a.m. PT. 

The Daytona 500 Viewing Party is free and open to fans of all ages, but space is limited.  Race fans far and wide are expected to watch the Daytona 500 on ESPN Zone’s 16-foot big screens and over 120 brand new HD TV’s. 

Race car enthusiasts get ready for an incredible photo opportunity.  The Auto Club Speedway and NASCAR show cars will be at the ESPN Zone, as will the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship replica trophy. 

For fans attending the Daytona 500 Viewing Party wanting to get behind the wheel, competition for the Racing Challenge on SEGA’s Daytona USA 2 stock car racing simulator will fill that need for speed.  ESPN Zone will be giving away prizes to the top finishers of the Daytona USA 2 Racing Challenge.

Fans will also have the opportunity to win a variety of prizes including the DVD of “TOGETHER: The Hendrick Motorsports Story” and tickets and pre-race pit passes to the West Coast Premiere of NASCAR- --the Auto Club 500 at Auto Club Speedway on Sunday, Feb. 21.
