Auto Club Speedway Announces More Fan Friendly Amenities
Fans can now bring in lightweight backpacks when NASCAR returns to Southern California for the Auto Club 500 race weekend, March 25 -27, 2011
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CALIF. (Nov. 5, 2010) – In effort to offer race fans the best possible experience, Auto Club Speedway has implemented more fan friendly amenities when NASCAR returns Auto Club Speedway for the Auto Club 500 weekend on March 25-27, 2011… the only place to find five-wide racing on the NASCAR circuit.
To ensure a more convenient experience, fans that bring in other items to Auto Club Speedway such as cameras and scanners, or who purchase souvenirs throughout the day, may now utilize lightweight backpacks or daypacks similar to those used by school students.
Race fans experiencing Auto Club Speedway have always been able to take advantage of cost-savings opportunities like bringing in their own food and beverages.
While Auto Club Speedway remains dedicated to offering a full day of entertainment and fun at a fantastic family value, fan safety remains a top priority. All items will be subject to a thorough and complete search by security personnel prior to entering the ticket gates. In addition, there will be sufficient personnel on hand to ensure our guests may proceed through the gates quickly and get to their seats in a reasonable amount of time.
For those taking advantage of the new fan amenities, look for some amazing racing when the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series returns to Auto Club Speedway for the Auto Club 500 on March 27, 2011. The last race held on Oct. 10, the Pepsi MAX 400, was proclaimed by drivers, media and spectators as possibly the best ever at Auto Club Speedway. Come see what that enthusiasm brings in 2011.
