Eventually, Shelea found herself collaborating with Take 6 on their 3-time Grammy nominated album,The Standard, singing “Someone to Watch over Me”, which became an instant radio favorite. It was this radio hit that caught the attention of musical legend Stevie Wonder. He personally reached out to ask Shelea to perform with him live during his annual Christmas benefit concert at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. It was this concert that lead Shelea to sing her original song, “I Believe”, for three inaugural events for the historical election of President Barack Obama. Take 6 invited her on their latest Christmas album, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year to close out their project with, “Christmas is Here” which is already receiving incredible write-ups.
