Several NASCAR drivers have California connections. Below is a roundup of how each California driver fared this weekend.

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 1, 2012) –  Saving fuel over the final 79-lap green-flag run, Brad Keselowski (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge) triumphed in the third Chase for the Sprint Cup race in Sunday's AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway.

Below is how our California drivers fared this weekend.

4th PLACE FINISH:  Johnson’s No. 48 Lowe’s /Kobalt Tools Chevrolet notched a top-five finish after leading 43 laps. Johnson, who won at Dover in the Spring and has seven total wins at the one-mile speedway, is second in the overall point standings – just five markers back.  “In this sport, with as many races as we have and as many types of races that we have, it’s real tough to control your foot and not stand on the gas and try to keep them behind you. But it is what it is. You’ve got to be good on all fronts and we did a decent job today.”
