FONTANA, Calif. (February 19, 2016) – Pasadena’s Kevin Ortiz, who’s first single "Un Minuto," made him a driving force in the Latin Mexican Regional music world, will perform in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Fan Zone on Sunday, March 20, prior to NASCAR’s Auto Club 400.  Ortiz is set to take stage at 8:45am.

The former Youth Revelation Award winner is the brother of singer and songwriter Gerardo Ortiz. His parents are from Mexico and his grandparents from Culiacán, Sinaloa, major reason why his ties to regional Mexican musical traditions, run deep and wide.

Like many of his peers, Ortiz began his musical studies when he was young. At the age of five he began playing accordion, learning polkas, rancheras, and corridos. Preparing him for his first public appearance, at barely fifteen, from the huge platform of the Nokia Theater.

Ortiz released his latest album, “Mi Vicio Y Mi Adiccion” on February 12, 2016.  The Album features a duet with his brother Gerardo, plus a smash cumbia with Maluma.

His debut album, “Con la Misma Sangre”, was issued on November of 2013, obtaining several major awards and crowning him one of the Regional Mexican Millennia’s of the year 2014.
