Welcome to the Auto Club Speedway Fire Safety Team!
Our Team has more than 160 members, drawn from fire agencies throughout Southern California. Our mission for the Safety Team is: "To deliver to our competitors, guests, and co-workers, the highest level of professional fire and rescue services, while at the Auto Club Speedway".
We supply fire and rescue protection for Auto Club Speedway on more than 250 days per year! On top of our race schedule, we host racing schools, major movie productions, TV and commercial filming as well as race team and club rentals, testing and many more activities.
Coming up in 2012, our activities schedule includes a major NASCAR weekend which features the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Auto Club 400, and the NASCAR Nationwide Series. We will continue to support the numerous racing school and race teams throughout the year as they prepare for future events at our facility.

From the beginning of our first major race in June 1997, our members have been a true example of our Mission Statement. Although we are considered "part-timers", the dedication and professionalism given to the Auto Club Speedway is second to none in the fire service industry.
