AUGUST 2008 PEPSI 500 - INFIELD RV RULES FOR GENERATOR OPERATION AND FUEL SALES

FOR THE 2008 PEPSI 500 WEEKEND THE FOLLOWING RULES FOR GENERATOR HOURS OF OPERATIONS AND FUEL TRANSPORTATION / SALES WILL BE IN EFFECT. THIS IS ONLY FOR THIS EVENT

GENERATOR OPERATION:
For this race weekend if the temperature is above 89 degrees at 11:00PM we will allow generators to be operated all night on that night - with the following stipulations.

If you run your generator or vehicle engine while parked in the infield RV area the exhaust must be routed up over the top of your RV and away from your neighbors RV. If you are not in compliance with this rule you will be asked to turn off your Generator / Vehicle. Camping World will be selling hose kits at their store that will help you meet this requirement. We will be issuing Infield Violations to those who don't comply with these rules which could result the loss of future site privileges.

FUELING OF GENERATORS:
We will not allow fuel to be carried by hand or in Carts or Wagons through any of our main Spectator Gates, except thru Gate #54. This would include Gates - 7, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17 OR 18. Fuel containers will not be allowed to be transported on trams. There is no in and out with vehicles to fuel up. Once a vehicle leaves, no RE-ENTRY into the Infield will be allowed.

Fuel may be brought in through Gate # 54 - (the backstretch crossover) during the hours that it is open (hours that gate will be open are listed below)

• THURSDAY - GATE 54 OPEN FROM 7AM - TILL 10:00AM FRIDAY MORNING
• FRIDAY - GATE 54 WILL OPEN APPROXIMATELY 7:00PM (POST RACE) AND BE OPEN UNTIL 12:NOON ON SATURDAY
• SATURDAY - GATE 54 OPEN 12:OOAM / OR WHEN ON TRACK ACTIVITY IS COMPLETE - UNTIL 12NOON SUNDAY
• SUNDAY- GATE 54 OPENS APPROXIMATELY 1.5 - 2 HOURS AFTER CHECKERED FLAG DEPENDING ON TRAFFIC FLOW

FUEL SALES:
Fuel for use in generators will be available from the pumps on the South side of our Maintenance Building located outside Turn 2, east of Gate 54. We will only dispense fuel into containers approved to handle gasoline. NO GLASS CONTAINERS - NO DISPENSING DIRECTLY INTO VEHICLES.

FUEL PRICE - $5.00 PER GALLON - CASH OR CREDIT CARDS ONLY
