Auto Club Speedway And Juan Pablo Montoya Team Up For Ticket Promotion


Auto Club Speedway has partnered with NASCAR international superstar driver, Juan Pablo Montoya, on an exciting ticket promotion that benefits his fans, promotes a great cause and is one of the best values in racing.  Fans can purchase a Formula Smiles Foundation ticket package for $142 with $42 of the price going directly to benefit the Formula Smiles Foundation.  The foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life of needy Colombian children and their environment by implementing programs that instill values through sports and recreation.

In addition to a race ticket in rows 11-23 for the Auto Club 500 on Sunday, February 24, fans who purchase the Formula Smiles Ticket package will also gain admission to a question and answer session with 2007 Raybestos Rookie of the Year recipient Montoya, a pre-race pit pass and receive a special Juan Pablo Montoya-themed gift.

About the Formula Smiles Foundation

The Formula Smiles Foundation was created by Colombian NASCAR driver Juan Pablo Montoya and his wife Connie Freydell with the goal of improving the quality of life of needy Colombian children and their environment by implementing programs that instill values through sports and recreation.  Currently the Foundation works on a program titled: “Education + Sports = The Best Formula,” which consists of taking sports in to low income neighborhoods by implementing sport centers and aid for education institutions by providing licensed professionals in physical education.  Formula Smiles operates in Cartagena, Villavicencio and Ibagué.
