How do I get to Auto Club Speedway?

How do I get to and from Auto Club Speedway during NASCAR Weekend? Where should I park at the Speedway? Are there trams?

Parking is FREE. Guest Express Trams are also offered during NASCAR events at Auto Club Speedway. These trams will take guests to a variety of locations throughout the Speedway. This is a free service, compliments of Auto Club Speedway. The trams will run up until one hour past the checkered flag of each day's final race.

Can I tailgate in my parking spot?

YES you can tailgate in your parking spot. Guests are allowed to tailgate within their designated parking spot and may not take up additional spaces or utilize the roadway. Guests with additional parking passes cannot hold spaces or use them strictly for tailgating.

TRACK RENTALS

Is Auto Club Speedway, or different areas of Speedway grounds, available for rental? How do I find out what is going on at the Speedway besides major events?

Auto Club Speedway is proud to offer its world-class facilities to local groups and organizations, as well as the famous Southern California film and television industry. To contact the Speedway's track rental office call Brian Geye at 909-429-5000 or email at bgeye@autoclubspeedway.com.

NASCAR TICKETS

When and how can I purchase 2022 NASCAR Tickets?

Auto Club Speedway Ticket Office Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00p.m.  Closed holidays.
Event Weekend Hours: Ticket offices are located at Gate A and Gate D and open at the gate opening times for that day.

To purchase tickets over the phone, call the Speedway Ticket Office at 800-944-RACE (7223).

NASCAR PIT & GARAGE ACCESS

How do I get into the pits and/or NASCAR garage area for the NASCAR Weekend?

A Pre-Race Pit Pass is required for any fan to enter the pits during our NASCAR weekend. Pre-Race Pits close one hour prior to the start of the race. Kids 12 and under get in free when accompanied by an adult with a Pre-Race Pit Pass. Attire must remain appropriate for both a major sporting event and a family environment, but has been relaxed to include shorts, open-toed shoes, sleeveless blouses and skirts/dresses in the pits throughout each weekend.  These passes must be accompanied by a daily admission ticket.

Pit availability depends on track activity schedule. Pre-Race Pit Passes and other hospitality options are available through our box office.  Call 800-944-RACE (7223) for more information. Guests must be mindful of security and race officials while on pit road.

NASCAR controls garage access on race weekends.  Auto Club Speedway does not sell individual garage passes at NASCAR.

REFUND POLICY

The date and time of the event(s) listed are subject to change by Auto Club Speedway and/or the sanctioning body of the particular event. The ticket holder assumes responsibility for verifying the dates and times of the event(s) prior to travel or other arrangements in connection with the event(s). Auto Club Speedway does not offer refunds or exchanges of any tickets. All sales are final.

GUEST ASSISTANCE

It is race weekend and I don't know who to talk with to get help!

If you need help on any race weekend, you can visit any of our blue and white guest relations booths scattered throughout Auto Club Speedway, or call our Guest Services Hotline at 909-429-5616.

I lost something during the race weekend, who do I call to see if it has been found?

During race events, lost items, children or parents can be taken to, or claimed at, the Lost and Found Tents/Information Booths. Following all events, all unclaimed items will be held at the administration building for 30 calendar days. Guests who have lost an item may stop by or call 909-429-5000 to inquire about a lost item. After 90 days, items will be donated to a local charity.

What can I do to ensure my child does not get lost?

Auto Club Speedway offers Child I.D. Wristbands and it is highly recommended that parents take advantage of this free special child safety program by signing up their children (primarily for those 12 and under) for a wristband at a Guest Services Information Booth.

Do you offer services for guests with disabilities?

Auto Club Speedway is proud to offer services for guests with disabilities. Those services include accessible seating, parking, transportation, elevators and ramps. For detailed information, click here.

GATE POLICIES

Enhanced security measures will be implemented at gate entrances for the NASCAR Race Weekend. This will include personal screening of all guests by use of metal detectors. Please review in advance our policy of permitted and prohibited items in order to expedite the screening process. Also plan on allowing extra time to enter the facility. 

In an effort to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for our race fans, while ensuring everyone’s timely entry into each event, the following policies are in effect:

APPROVED CARRY-IN ITEMS

Fans may enter Auto Club Speedway with the following items:

  • Binoculars
  • Scanners
  • Headsets
  • Cameras
  • Soft Seat Cushions (No hard metal arms or structure)
  • Service Animals (With proper credentials)
  • Ear Plugs
  • Sunscreen (Aerosol cans are permitted)
  • Metal Cups, Insulated Cups, or Thermoses
  • Ice or Ice Packs
  • Strollers (Allowed through gates but not in grandstands)
  • One backpack per person (maximum size of 18”x18”x14”) or clutch bag/fanny pack (maximum size of 4.5”x 6.5”)
  • Soft- Sided Coolers (6” x 6” x 12” max.)
  • Sealed Plastic Water Bottles
UNAUTHORIZED CARRY-IN ITEMS

The following items may not enter the admission gates:

  • Weapons (Firearms, Fixed-Bladed Knives, Folding Knives over 3” Blade)
  • Fireworks
  • Wagons, scooters, skates, skateboards, bicycles or hoverboards
  • Umbrellas
  • Selfie Sticks, tripods or monopods
  • Glass Containers
  • Laser Pointers
  • Flag Poles or Sticks ( Larger than pencil diameter )
  • Beach Balls, Frisbees or other Throwing Toys
  • Noisemakers
  • Dry Ice
  • Drones (UAS)
  • Non-Alcoholic and Alcoholic Beverages
  • Displays of the confederate flag will not be allowed


None of the above restricted items may be left in or around the gate area.  Please return items to your vehicle.  Any items left at the gates will be discarded.  Auto Club Speedway reserves the right to refuse entry of any item deemed inappropriate.

NON-SMOKING POLICY

In accordance with San Bernardino County Ordinance 31.0215, smoking is not allowed in any spectator seating area, including outdoor athletic recreation bleachers or similar areas used for the viewing of sports and athletic competition. Auto Club Speedway offers clearly marked “smoking areas” away from the seating areas.

WEATHER PROTECTION

Don’t let the weather keep you from the race. The Weather Protection Program offers fans the opportunity to exchange their unused Grandstand tickets from any postponed race at one of our properties for tickets to another race any time in the next year. No cost, no advance paperwork—the policy automatically comes with tickets purchased from any track.

WHAT IS THE NASCAR EVENT POLICY FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER?

The Weather Protection Program applies to regular grandstand tickets for all NASCAR races (NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series) at any participating venue that is postponed and rescheduled to a different date due to inclement weather. Fan(s) may exchange regular grandstand tickets that were not used on the rescheduled date for a future NASCAR race (NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series) at a participating property. Unused regular grandstand tickets may be exchanged for a grandstand ticket of equal or lesser value based on event and seating location availability at the time of redemption. Complete the request form below (available once the race has been officially postponed) or contact the Daytona International Speedway ticket office at 1-877-306-7223 to inquire about eligibility and exchanging your ticket.

*Fans may exchange tickets for any NASCAR event with the exception of the Daytona 500 and NASCAR Cup Series Championship event at Phoenix Raceway. Only tickets for the Daytona 500 or NASCAR Cup Series Championship event may exchange into the same event the following year. I.e. If the Daytona 500 is postponed, Daytona 500 ticketholders may exchange their tickets for any participating event or the following year’s Daytona 500.

HOW MUCH DOES THE WEATHER PROTECTION PROGRAM COST?

Nothing. The protection is free for all customers with a paid regular NASCAR grandstand ticket at any of the 12 venues listed.

HOW DO I EXCHANGE MY TICKET(S) FOR A FUTURE RACE EVENT IF MY RACE IS POSTPONED?

Upon completion of the rescheduled event, the accountholder has 60 days to contact the ticket office at the venue where the race event was postponed by completing the website request form below. Once the form is submitted, a ticket agent will assist you with the exchange process for a regular grandstand ticket for a future NASCAR event at any of the 12 participating venues. A ticket agent will contact you as soon as possible with consideration for the new event date you have requested.

FOR WHAT FUTURE EVENTS CAN I EXCHANGE UNUSED TICKETS?

Eligible regular grandstand tickets may be exchanged for any future NASCAR race at a participating venue within one (1) year of the original event date or for the same race the following year, excluding the Daytona 500 and NASCAR Cup Series Championship event at Phoenix Raceway. Only current Daytona 500 tickets can be redeemed for the next year’s Daytona 500 as well as NASCAR Cup Series Championship for the same event the next year. Eligible tickets must be redeemed within 60 days of completion of the postponed event. If eligible regular grandstand tickets are not redeemed during the allotted timeframe set forth, the exchange opportunity will expire.

WHAT TICKETS ARE ELIGIBLE UNDER THIS POLICY?

Only regular grandstand tickets purchased directly from a participating venue are eligible for an exchange under this policy. Complimentary regular grandstand tickets are not eligible for exchange under this policy. Restrictions also apply to corporate tickets and other special purchase situations. Patrons should contact the track ticket office after the postponed event has been completed with questions regarding eligibility.

WHAT IF I USED SOME OF MY TICKETS FOR THE RESCHEDULED EVENT BUT NOT ALL OF THEM?

Any eligible unused regular grandstand ticket(s) for the rescheduled event date may be redeemed. Complete the request form below or contact the track ticket office at (800) 944-7223 to inquire about the eligibility of your grandstand ticket(s).

WHAT ABOUT OTHER PURCHASED ITEMS SUCH AS PARKING, CAMPING, PIT PASSES, ETC.?

The Weather Protection Program only covers regular grandstand tickets.

CAN I GET A CASH REFUND FOR MY TICKETS?

No.  Cash refunds will not be issued.  This policy allows regular grandstand tickets to be exchanged  for future NASCAR races at any venue listed.

WHAT IF THE EVENT IS DELAYED?

The Weather Protection Program only applies if a race event is postponed and moved to a date other than the originally scheduled date.  Delayed races regardless of the length of delay are not eligible, including if the event completes after 11:59pm.

WHAT IF THE EVENT IS SHORTENED DUE TO WEATHER?

The Weather Protection Program will not apply to races that were shortened due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances where the event is counted as official by the appropriate sanctioning body
